Stone, timber and arched openings in a Morii interior design visualisation

Morii

The thought behind the name

Some moments
stay with you

MoriiThe desire to capture a fleeting experience.

The name speaks to the experiences we wish we could hold on to. At Morii, that thought becomes a question for the home itself: what makes a room somewhere you want to spend time?

Light, material, proportion and the way spaces connect all contribute to the answer.

Rest & retreat

The room
around you

Soft fabric against a timber frame. A textured wall. Daylight entering from the side. The bedroom design brings these elements together with a place to sit and a view beyond the room.

Gathering

A place
at the table

The dining space belongs to the life of the home. Its relationship to the kitchen and adjoining rooms makes gathering part of the everyday.

Woven surfaces, warm timber and a generous table give the space its particular character. The details are considered at the scale of a person using them.

Light & texture

A naturally
lit shower

The bathroom study brings a stone wall and a pebble surface beneath an overhead opening. Daylight reveals the irregular texture, while planting softens the edge of the space.

It is a close study of the things a person sees and feels while using a room: the surface underfoot, the light above and the materials within reach.

Sound & attention

Listen a
little longer

Nesara’s interior studies explore settings for music, books and conversation. A record collection, a comfortable seat and materials with tactile depth express the broader ambition: to engage more of your senses at home.

Goa is part
of the picture

Morii’s design draws on the paddy fields and backwaters of Salvador do Mundo. Views, openings and natural ventilation connect the interiors to this village landscape.
